Thread: Transfering fish and game in Arkansas

Reguarding luvpt's post. I'm sure alot of us been guilty of that, myself included. I have given away tons of fish over the years. But that is the law. I think it is intended to stop double dipping. I think everyone knows what double dipping means'' catching the limit transfering them to someone and catching another limit''. Arkansas law is you must fill out a piece of paper with your information,date, number and species of fish or game transfered. Those fish apply to both yours and their limits for that day best I can remember. A warning ticket would have been better IMO . But I'm not gonna bash a WO for doing his job even when it seems harsh. The law has to be enforced equally even when we feel otherwise. Without laws some folks would take all of the resourses and leave nothing for our future.
Look in the regulation guide book and it has transfer tags in there. I'm sure 99 per cent have never used one. But it may save us a ticket in the future if we do. Not saying I totally agree with this law but it is the law. Guess I need to photocopy a transfer tag and make a ton of copies as I give away fish and game alot.
