Thread: got asked a stupid question

I fished a couple Bass tournaments there years ago and we fished big bass boats. I drew a local and we flew down the lake! We won the tournament with almost 28 lbs. I have drove my 16' with a 90 hp there night fishing with buddys that knew the lake . Still the stumps will scare me , one false turn and your A$$ is history! It really is no place for folks that don't know the lake and want to haul butt.

Two years ago I saw a jet skier running around like he was on Greers or something. Never saw him agian after that.:D

WOW!!!!! my moms house is on lake barnett on her back deck you can see the lake and the rock wall dam. she says that there are jet skiers out there all the time during the summer.

I lost a prop on Conway several years ago and I wasn't even going that fast, and thought I was it the trail to top it all off. I also saw a bass boat tied up near the trail at Gold creek once and saw that it was tied to keep it from sinking, had a hole in it from the stump it was setting on. lol.

I think Conway and Barnett are fabulous spots for the lake roaches to run wide open. Wish more would do that.:D

Back in early June I pulled into Adams Lake landing to find a tow truck blocking the ramp and the driver and an elderly gent were at an impasse on how they were going to attach the tow cable to a truck and trailer that you could only see the radio antenna and the top of the boat motor. I foolishly volunteered to make the dive. The water has such a low pH from all the rotting debris that it will eat your skin up and I had rashes and itches for a week. Same thing happens to your hands when you run trotlines alot.

That's right...so all you people who think you want to come fish on Conway...Stay away...it's horrible...and you will sink your boat or at best leave itchy.!:D
