I have the 0.6 PE varivas on a 2000s abu garcia revo beast reel, I've tried it on some of the spinning rods, to be fair none of them were rated for 0.6 PE. with a jig 1 gram and lighter I'm not getting good distance, I can see the line bunching up at the first guide. If I try casting to hard I end up with a mess from the line bunching at the first guide. I tried it today with a 1.5g jig the distance was better, (same as I was getting with a .5g using Lemoni) I still have to be careful about overcasting. I might try puttting it on a different reel to see if that changes anything.
