No like breakage with PE I have two:
- Daiwa Gekkabijin 0.2 PE (3.9 lbs)
- Area Super Trout Master Limited Premium PE 0.175 (5.5 lbs)
The latter is much superior. It out casts the former. But I use a blank rated for 1 - 2 lbs line. So, if a bass heads for structure I would be helpless!! Lol!! Works just fine for panfish.

Got a BFS set up. On it I have the Varivas BFS PE line.
