I have the 7.6 Shimano Soare BB, caught my first fish on it November 4, 2018. Started me down this expensive but fun JDM road.Name: IMG_2782.jpg

It has a very soft tip, kinda of whispy but no buggy whip. Has a good backbone about half way down. Have caught many fish on it, most species that frequent my waters, and I never had any qualms about it handling what bit. It is not “steely”, a word I see here on this board describing the higher end and higher graphite content rods. It is the PERFECT rod for the little lake behind my daughters house that is chock full of Panfish and Bass, all of which are always hungry and seem somewhat stunted. I have never caught a fish over 12 inches in that lake but have a ton of fun with this rod with light line and almost any buggy looking bait. If you tie into any of those bruiser Ears I see pictures of from out your way, hold on, it will be a fun ride with this rod for sure.
