The Tict Drift is a soft rod...nothing stiff about it. The whole section is solid...not just the tip...the whole top section. I have not done any videos with it as I am needing an Torzite insert put in that fell out. The only guy I let work on my rods lives in Franklin, KY and I haven't had time to get up there. The Drift to me is spooky good at detecting bites to be such a soft rod. One will show up on Digitaka from time to time...and the Digitaka price is about $450. They ain't cheap....on Ebay they are going for over $500. For that kind of money you can get an Graphiteleader Super Bellezza. There are a lot of area trout rods that have great sensitivity...soft rods...in the $300 range. I think maybe a couple on here have the Drift also.
