Explain to me the key differences between a tubular tip and a solid tip. I have the Triple Cross in a tubular tip and really like it. Are the differences noticeable? Thanks!!

Here is link to Tict Ice Cube Rockin’ Finesse DIGITAKA! - Japan Fishing Tackle Store I know it shows out of stock but it will be back in stock. You have to check everyday and hit buy when it comes in stock or they will all be gone pretty quick. It is a very popular rod. But it is worth the wait.....there are a number on here that own it. Which Banshee model are you looking for?

I absolutely love my Tict Icecube Rockin Finesse. Paired with some good ester line and a good reel, the sensitivity is incredible. You can cast a 0.5 gram jighead really far with this rod, a good reel, and light ester line.

Solid tips are softer in the tip section.....great for working small plastics. That is what they are designed for in the Mebaru-Ajing rods. A tubular tip is more versatile and can not only work soft plastics but hard baits. Solid tips can work a hard bait but not as well. Solid tip area trout rods.....from what I gather are used fur spoons. I am sure others will have some input also.

I can tell you my limited knowledge and experience with tubular vs. solid. As many of you know I have now 3 of the 6'8" triple cross tubular that I LOVE for dock shooting. With that thought in mind I ordered a 5'6" solid triple cross thinking it would be even better. WRONG it's now a grand kid rod. On that note I also bought the 6'8" tubular N-one thinking that at a higher price it would be even better at dock shooting. WRONG. While it is sensitive and probably has good uses it's not for me. Guess I'm going to try and sell that one and take a hit. Scott
The Drift model is really stepping it up a a few notches. That is the one with the upper rod section is completely solid. The Tict Ice Cube Rockin Finesse has just a solid tip. It is a great rod!

The Tict Drift is a soft rod...nothing stiff about it. The whole section is solid...not just the tip...the whole top section. I have not done any videos with it as I am needing an Torzite insert put in that fell out. The only guy I let work on my rods lives in Franklin, KY and I haven't had time to get up there. The Drift to me is spooky good at detecting bites to be such a soft rod. One will show up on Digitaka from time to time...and the Digitaka price is about $450. They ain't cheap....on Ebay they are going for over $500. For that kind of money you can get an Graphiteleader Super Bellezza. There are a lot of area trout rods that have great sensitivity...soft rods...in the $300 range. I think maybe a couple on here have the Drift also.

Y’all type faster than me....LOL. When I started typing my reply nothing about the Drift had been posted.....otherwise I would not have made the same comments you made.....LOL. My hunt and peck doesn’t make for speed...LOL. I’ve thought about really learning how to type....might still give it a go.
