    Those piles that you keep adding to over time become huge holders of fish and really help keep them in those areas for the long term. Those look great. How much time did you have to give the quick crete to dry before you send them to the bottom?

    The bases were done at home and set for about 24 hours.

    I've done some before where I put bamboo in containers lake side, covered with quickcrete (the no mix kind used for fence post and mail boxes) and poured in water. 30 minutes later it was solid enough to drop in the lake and keep the bamboo in place. Of course concrete will continue to get harder over time. The problem with bamboo is it will rot away after only two or three years.
