I have to go light with a kayak. I create the bases with Quikrete in coffee containers at home. The upper section and the 1/2 tubing I drill and cut at home. Once on site I put it together and paddle each out to my location and mark with a GPS.
Before I left I went back and tossed my spinner through them. Caught 5 Crappie out of them already, should be sweet this summer. They're in about 10 feet of water and are 5 feet tall. I can't wait to drag jigs through them spider rigging!

Nice sir. I do the same but I don't use coffee cans. Got that fancy single deal. I use the new laundry individual packs container. Do you use plastic or rubber on the tubing ditch ?

It's 1/2" polyethylene drip tubing that's used in landscaping irrigation systems. I buy 500 foot rolls off Amazon for about $45. That's enough material for about 10 of these.

Still a work in progress. I have some I dropped last year that were above water over the fall draw down. They survived the winter fine and are back under water now. I started catching fish around them a couple weeks after they were put in the water so I know they work to hold fish. I'm hoping they'll last at least 5 years or more. I have some PVC structures that I sank in high school over 30 years ago in Texas. They are still there and hold fish to this day. I don't mind spending a little money for a long term investment. I plan to add at least one piece of structure each time I go fishing this year, hopefully it will add up over time.
