Top is down view, middle would be perspective view ( I don’t have that mount), bottom is forward view. LVS 34 transducer.

You can set it manually to forward or down view…https://youtu.be/ngIxAJUhNss?si=rgMguUDuaXbDV6T2

If all else fails you can (restore sonar defaults). https://youtu.be/oJsPkB5IM-I?si=B3imENrQ-Db4GfsC

That would be forward view, one click past center back, I usually run mine 2 clicks past center back it will show your lure higher in the water column sooner casting.

FWIW if you pole tips backwards to much, the gyro in the transducer will automatically switch to down view if it’s on auto orientation in the sonar set up page.

Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions, I was able to get it back to forward view. It seems I did not ever have perspective view. Maybe I should just go back to a cane pole and fish off the bank. It would definitely be more relaxing

You have forward, down, and perspective view depending on the mount you use.

I guess I don't think I have the correct mount for the perspective mode as mine does not pivot

Yeah, you'd have to buy it seperate, then update the software on your unit. Perspective mode is best used in less than 10ft of water (max), so it's use is limited to those times when the fish are in relatively shallow waters.
