    Angry Livescope trouble

This is now how my screen looks. Prior to today, I had perspective view with depth adjustment on the right side of the screen. I have made no changes that I am aware of. Any suggestions on what to do to get it back? I'm so pissed at it I could tossed the whole unit. It is with the 34 transducer

Grumpa .... your unit is in "Downview" according to the image you posted. "Perspective" view would have the white ^ shaped lines at the bottom of the screen (in a V shaped pattern).
Do you have the preset buttons activated, and could you have pushed one of them by accident & moved the LS mode to Downview instead of Perspective View ??

Not sure what you mean by preset buttons. I tried everything I could think of and tried all kinds of views. Not sure what to do next. Can I do settings without it being in the water?

Preset buttons are the buttons labeled 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 .... and they're used to have four different setting groups that you can just push the button and switch from say Forward mode to Downscan mode without having to go into the menu and manually change the settings. (but you'll need a manual handy to show you how to set the preset buttons)

Yes, you can change or experiment with the settings without the transducer being in the water. You turn the unit on and disable sonar transmit (so the transducer stops trying to send a signal, which can overheat and damage the system), then go into Simulator mode to change the settings around until you find what you're looking for.

My Livescope setup doesn't have Perspective mode, so I may be guessing here ... but, if you had the depth adjustment on the right side of the screen, try putting the unit back into Perspective mode & see if it returns. As it is now, you're in Downscan mode & the depth adjustment buttons are at the bottom of your screen (- 30ft + ) just above the Nav Info button.

Thanks for your help, right now the perspective mode is not even an option. I thought the buttons at the bottom was to adjust the distance, not the depth. I've never used the 1-4 buttons on the side unless it was by accident. My feeble brain did a slow fry today, this is all over my head

Perspective mode requires a bracket to turn the transducer sideways and a software update.

My apologies ... you are correct that the bottom on screen buttons are for distance. And the +/- buttons on the upper right of the unit are for depth. (I think my brain is fried, too)

IS the buttons +/FT/- that are vertically stacked ON THE SCREEN in this picture what you're looking for ??

So down view shouldn’t show like that unless the transducer is tipped down? Did you tip your transducer down one or two clicks by accident?

I had the perspective mode before or at least I thought I did. When the picture was taken I might have moved the transducer. I tried everything I could think of, looking online for help is frustrating as every YouTube video is different. Don't know why Garmin doesn't put pictures that a 70 year old brain could understand. All help is appreciated, hopefully I can get back to the boat Sunday or Monday

If it helps, my transducer is on a separate pole on the starboard side of the boat. Does anyone have a similar setup that they could show an actual picture of how the transducer is placed?
