    I had the other 4 tamales over extra sharp cheddar grits this morning with 2 over easy eggs gracing the top. Full as a tick after that meal.

    you know I ain't had me any grits since I was lil , my dad and that side of my family were from Louisiana and lots of what they ate I got to eat as well . they were not rich folk and ate lots of black eyed peas and cornbread and grits and the other more affordable types of vittles . Any fish that wasn't 2 foot long was just bait to them peeps ....and ...
    I always ate my grits with butter , milk and cinnamon and sugar ....sometimes we subbed with honey instead of the sugar ....but...
    dad and pappy threw everything on the plate in their grits ,,,,,just saying
    sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
