Never received rod, tried to work with USPS - no joy. Filed dispute with ebay and my CC.

Digitaka reel order (Zenon 1000s) lost by FedX - over 12 days. Not worried about this because Digitaka is GTG, but I don't need it since the rod I ordered it for isn't coming.

I can't win. I'll fish with what I have, and won't lose money, but it sucks. Hope someone in DC jerks a knot in USPS' tail, because it is a hot mess.

In other news, I'm catching some nice crappie and redears since the super cold moved out.

USPS has lost two rods for me this month .
The original, the. A replacement order . Finally just got a refund .
FishUSA handled it for me .
They offered to send a third rod , but I decided to give up on USPS delivering it .

Call Sen Ossoff, Sen Warnock, and you representative's office and complain. I did. I am going to be a squeaky wheel about this issue, and encourage you to do the same. They are supposed to work for us. It isn't just us - USPS is in shambles since they started routing all packages thru that place. Hmmm, I think I'll also call the President's office.

That really stinks about your shipments. I ordered the 7’3” and it’s somewhere in Miami right now. Who knows. May not make it to me either. Sorry about you postal issues and I should probably just use what I have too but I keep buying.

Update: rod showed up out of the blue yesterday, on a holiday. I guess they finally found it at the Atlanta Distribution Center. It was in a round tube, with a clear legible address. Maybe it rolled under something for 4 weeks? I was pleasantly surprised to finally get it.

I still needed a reel for it. Digitaka had refunded me for the reel (Abu Garcia Zenon) FedEx lost couple weeks ago, that I initially ordered for the rod. An investigator with FedX called me a couple times and said she simply could not find it. Digitaka is a reliable vendor and refunded me in full right away. I did not reorder the same reel because I figured the rod was lost.
Anyway, yesterday I ordered a Shimano Vanquish 1000SSSPG, after watching an i_fish review of it on YT. I decided to get that instead of the made in China Zenon, The Vanquish did cost a hundred more.

Woohoo! Glad you got the rod. You all are bad on my wallet. I ordered the 7’3” a while back and got it a week or so ago. Haven’t had a chance to try it out. We have more snow coming tomorrow. Over it at this point. Hope you get to put a bend in it soon and the vanquish will work out great with it I’m sure.

I sold my Luna and shipped it usps on the 28 of last month and the buyer hasn’t received it yet. Kentucky must have moved further away. I’d like to have one of the 6’7” eradicator but I’m spooked with all the shipping issues lately. I don’t need it but I’d like to have one to try. Same with the diplomat tubular. On those all I find are solid tip and I’m after a tubular. Not rolling sevens lately, but I did finally get my line for the legalis twins. I’m hoping everyone gets their stuff and this all smooths out.

The USPS is terrible right now . I didn’t think they could get worse but they have .
I ordered an inexpensive 5’ Presso on the 5th of January.
After the mandatory 10 business days without my package being scanned, the dealer shipped a replacement, although I had requested a refund .
The replacement was scanned and started “ moving through the system “ until it hit the local hub that’s probably less than 25 miles from me where it stalled and sat without another scan for the mandatory 10 business days .
    The dealer refunded my payment.
Two weeks later the first rod ( I’m guessing) shows up with a broken tip .
The dealer told me to dispose of it how I pleased .
I added a new tiptop guide to it and made myself a 4’11” rod .
This past Monday, the other rod shows up in good condition.
I contacted the dealer and purchased the rod at a discount rather than them paying for me to return it .
So I now have two short UL Presso rods .
Hang in there guys . You never know.
I think a lot of these packages are sitting in the backs of semi trailers on the hub lots , waiting to be unloaded .
