Default Made 7 Loaves of Persimmon Bread This Morning

Well you can see what is left of one loaf after breakfast. Persimmon Bread and fresh brewed cinnamon coffee makes for a perfect cold morning breakfast.

YUM, looks delicious. We bought some persimmon pulp last year from someone and have yet to make anything with it. I think we have more coming this year. I gotta crack the whip on my wife....haha. Or, I could do it myself and not get in the doghouse.

Bud,,,,,,,,,,,,so easy to make. I will post the recipe this evening. My recipe makes 4 little loaves or 2 full sized loaves. You can cut it in half. Got to use metal baking pans though and the Joy baking spray is a must for easy release from the pan.

I agree, I have not made a loaf of quick bread with as unique a taste. I use James Beard's recipe with white grape raisins for the dried fruit, toasted walnuts most of the time for the nuts, & Brandy for the sprits. Spraying the pans with Bakers Joy the loaves just fall out.

I don't do zucchini bread Bud. I make so many others though. Mostly fruit based breads, those are my favorites. Something to eat while drinking coffee.
