It was worth a shot. Just let me know whenever you are up for it. We would like to learn from a pro like yourself. Lol. Thanks.

Hmmmm...now where have I seen that picture before...OH, wait, I TOOK it! I surely thank all the other posters who have figured out that Ditch can catch fish in a mud hole (hell, I keep looking for his kayak in some of the pot holes in my driveway!) It makes me feel SO much better knowing that he catches fish where others don't...especially when he out-fishes me 10 to 1! I remember once we went and I actually caught a fish before he did....after that, he SMOKED me! The man puts on a clinic!

No sir - My last name begins with a 'Z' and that' how it became Z-man. One quick comment..I used to bank fish for crappie at night mostly in the Scottsboro area and I generally did OK - some nights better than others but I rarely got skunked - trying jigs when minnows weren't working. Then I saw a bunch of Ditch Basser's posts (several years ago not) and PROMPTLY went out and bought a fairly cheap kayak (by the way, it's for sale since I got my new one!) - and I asked Ditch - right here on this forum if he'd let me tag along. He did and we've been hitting it pretty regular ever since. I'm almost 20 years older than he is and my back just couldn't take the 5 or 6 hours that Ditch fishes in my old kayak - then Ditch let me try his Native Ultimate 12 ...OMG! What a difference. I've been using Ditch's 3 or 4 times now and my NEW one arrived TODAY ! ! ! Pics to follow. Anyway...Ditch will pretty much be delighted to have anybody with a kayak tag along and show them how he does it. I do my best, but as I always say, ...he out fishes me at LEAST 5 to 1 every trip. I've fished all my life and ...Ditch is one of 2 or 3 guys I've known that are just a "natural"... BTW - I haven't been bank fishing since!
