The dub- L-seat 4 pole holder work just like single pole holders. Plus you can choose four different types of holders !!!

Yeah . You did . His first post said he couldn't afford 600.00 worth of rod holders. let's try to stay on point , and nit waste Griz's time .

you would lose out on the ability to pull them closer or move them away. BRMs widowmakers would let you pull closer if needed and just reset the pole angle up top. As slick as could be.

Grizz....I think you had a great idea....but even if you get the ram mount to hold position tight....is it going to be tight enough to keep a big cat fish or stripe from laying it over and pulling your rod in the water?

G that’s a great point and exactly why I was wondering if anyone could help me make it strong enough. I’m gone keep working on it. And I may have to change the design. But I’m gone find something that works.

Keep going it will work, I have a set I made but have different bases I like the ram idea better and bet the next size up will work . Dont get hung up on them not moving at all or holding a 20 lb cat they will need to move some to be able to adjust with just a push and if you hang in a big brush pile you will be glad they do move. Besides if they wasn't gonna be able to move they just wells be on a stiff rod. Keep going and please share they will work.
