Just thinking about brush Fishing. Seems to me that a rubber jig like this,
Fished with only a bare hook with a 1/16 oz weight a ft above it would float and jiggle much more than the normal set up.
Maybe use a bass worm hook so it stays upright?
Anyone ever try it?

Don’t over think things. I use the same type jig in three different weights. Depending on depth being fished, wind, current, type of structure, and size of bait they are eating. 1/16, 1/32, 1/48 in my favorite color schemes is all that’s needed. Here is a pic of a few of my favorites in 1/32 which is what I’ve been using lately.
