    Default Dawgg was workin !

Got a free pass off on Friday. Hooked up and headed to Wylie. Went by the Dawggs hangout and blew the horn. HE HAD TO WORK ! Didn't feel to bad cause he was out when I had to work this week. Any way. Hit the water and wind was already picking up. Ran into Remus on the way to Big A. Jawed around a bit. Went to back of B.A. and started putting out rods. Had 3 out and 1st one was bout to come out of the holder. Nice fat lady. Got rods out and then had 2 at once. I aint good as brett. 2 more fat girls. Wind was starting to kick up real good by now. 2 more, with one on a crank bait. Fought on a bit more. Couple more on cranks. Color didn't seem to matter much. 1/16 in 15-18 fow. Wind was howling now. After a mess with a nasty slimmer I started to pack it in. Had 1 more before I got all rods up. Ended with 8 fat ladies and few throw backs to grow up. Gave em all to Remus. He was still fighting the breeze. They are ready to head to shore if this weather will calm down a bit.

Yeah, I like that finger sign you gave to Hammett and me. I don't think that was the way to the Lake Wylie!
Glad you got to go and try. At least you got a few to get the rust of the hooks!

out. did manage 8 pretty nice uns on a new jig I found called a john jig before it
broke loose and floated away . went to wateree today and caught
a sack full of big perch before wind blew us away.
it was good to get out and fish a couple days again even if the wind did blow us away
