Ive had a lot of success on them but I like panther martins better, most of the time its too weedy where I fish to use them effectively.
I only fish on days that start with T, like tuesday, thursday, today, and tomorrow.

I don't like treble hooks for gills. (Don't like 'em for anything, really). If I wanted to use a blade bait, I'd go with a beetle spin or a road runner.

Why not use the single hook ones? I'm pretty sure the style he's using is single hook.

I use single hook for trout (the only time I use spinners). The spinning blade makes it difficult to go deep, so they're great when you don't need to go deep (like a shallow trout stream).

For gills, I think jigs or flies are all you need.

Fair point, but to me it's a variety thing. I could tie 1 style and color of jig that's gonna work for me 90% of the time, but I tie a bunch of styles and colors for fun.

This bait has no treble hook . about a size 10-12 single .

I usually throw 1 inch sliders on 1/32 road runners . Sometimes a 1/32 bettle spin . Just something else to play with . I have found nothing that will beat a black gnat on a fly rod but I like new baits . (only new to me ,I guess )

That's the thing, I enjoy trying new or different stuff. I could go out with spinning gear and a box full of 1/64 orange and olive jigs or a fly rod and a box full of yellow wooly worms and yellow foam spiders and get a bunch of fish, but what's the fun in that.
