Billbob is flying to Florida saturday to stay awhile and fish with Slab.....I am heading that way sunday morning early.....gonna be great the three of us fishing together again.

Last Wednesday was Engineering Day at the University. Huge event for sure. Kids came in on school buses from the high schools from all around the state to see what we have to offer. Probably 2,500+ students toured the various departments over a five hour period. Our students prepared for it big time. In one of the labs I teach, a girl put this up on one my infamous dry erase boards:
Thought it cute - that's me there in her drawing. I'm into this big time, tear it up. On another note, our student chapter of AADE (American Association of Drilling Engineers) is having a crawfish boil as a fund raiser on April 8:
All you can eat/drink crawfish, beer, soft drinks, etc. All are welcome. Not a bad deal at $20. Funding to support the department in equipment and supplies.
That fellas, is the way I roll.
