Hearing you talk about your daughter struck a chord with me, being a doting father myself. I sure hope she likes it and that the smile one her face is even close to the one with the deer.

I also want to thank you for your generosity in the benefit auction.

It is definitely made with the intent of performing the tasks that a hunting knife could be called on for. I forgot to get a picture of it, but in the testing I also chopped on a shed elk antler. I don't want to make a knife that will not perform and excel.

I am delivering it to the sheath maker tomorrow.

My daughter was 7 months pregnant when she harvested that deer and it was on her birthday to boot. It was a really special day for her. When I hand her the knife you've so generously made for her, I'm sure her smile will be bigger and better than the picture above. She's a daddy's girl and this awesome gift will be from me to her and will be every bit as special to her as anything I've ever given her. Even when I'm gone, she'll carry it to OUR deer hunting spots so I'll always be with her. I know she will cherish it. She's a Good Country Girl with a big, soft heart.

Thank You so much for giving me this opportunity to give it to her.

This knife will be like our relationship, "Special and One of a Kind".
