    Mom's pond.
Decided to give my mom and dad's pond a try yesterday afternoon. Didn't catch a bunch but did catch enough for supper! Best part was that we caught them on some jigs that Jlaughlin had tied for me!
    1st fish

Mom getting in the action too! This was the best part of my trip seeing her catch a fish again!

Mom with our haul for about 1 1/2 hours of fishing.

Well I guess one of the local turtles must have been of the cajun breed b/c he ate the tail off of one of our fish!

And last but not least the jig that Jlaughlin had tied for me to try out, needless to say, they worked!

    For Mike M
My largest was just at 13.5 inches. I scaled the smallest four and filleted the rest. Bruce's monster made my large one look small. It was a good day.

Been on a roll for three weeks straight. But it's had to end. Keepers were Hard to come by. but the keepers were big & fat.

Conditions were perfect. Water looked good. Down a smidgen from last week. No water movement that I could tell.

Most feesh caught swimming the black n Chartreuse 3tail with my zebco spin cast mounted on 5 foot crappie special rod.

    For Dapet
Crooked Creek, Pine Prairie, La. 10-13-2016

Ripped a few lips this morning on Crooked Creek, spider rigging minnows in 8-10 ft of water. Beautiful morning . Lost several at the boat. Hard to handle the net and get the fish in with those long 14 ft poles by yourself. Managed to see a bald eagle flying over, but not quick enough to get a picture.
