    For Paw Paw Gene
Not too many, not too few, but just right for supper tonight that is. Linda and I made another run to Turtle Bayou to try and learn more about it. The bite was off so everybody was saying. Found 1 boat that was catching a few little ones so we joined in on the fun and ended up with these five. A couple on the small side but they were hooked deeply and probably wouldn't have survived. They'll make some nice whole fryers.

    For Super Teach
Went to bayou today after reading Preacher's post last week. Ended up with11. All were good fish. Caught a 2.2, the biggest I've ever caught on bayou. Just like preacher said, they were on stumps in 6 fow. The only problem is there is 634,978 stumps on bayou in 6 fow. Haha. Caught on Cajun cricket and bayou booger. Looks like I should've followed 20 watt to river.

    For 20Watt
40watt and I hit some sloughs off the river today for some thump action.

Water is lower than normal and cooled down 6 to 8 degrees from last friday.

Bite was slow after at first but seemed to pick up around 10 am.

Found our fish hanging near wood. Did best swimming a jig just above structure.

Color didn't seem to matter much as we both fished several different colors and caught on most all of them.

Kept 35 but no real bigguns. Fish seem to be following shad into the sloughs.
