    I've tried it all, foot pedal won't even work

    Have you taken the head off of it???

    Be sure the power light on the bottom right of your trolling motor base comes on when you deploy.

    I say that because I had a problem similar to yours. The power light did not come on because the motor did not deploy properly. Cleaned everything, found a spring missing under the cover on the right side causing the release handle not to snap back fully upward and I wouldn't get power.

    Yes and checked all connections and even reconnected the original and took the ipilot head off and still didn't work

    Did you check for fire inside the head and all? If 12V you could just use a test light but with a bigger motor I guess a meter would be needed, hate electrical crap.
