Ok.....thinking out loud here.....have you checked to see if you got power to the TM.....its a possibility that something could have happened and tripped your circuit breaker and cut your power off.....you do have a circuit breaker wired in close to the battery dont you ?

Sometimes all it takes is something simple to throw the breaker....like fishing line behind the prop...might still be working last time out but after boat has sit up awhile and that dried out...it could throw a breaker. Anyway you need to take a volt meter and check and see if your getting power to the head...if not then check your breaker.

If this has not been suggested, then check the fuse, you have to remove the head and it's a mini fuse in a sealed fuse holder with a removal cap. Yellow, I think.

I'm ashamed to say I found the problem.....changed back to an old battery I had in the garage and it worked perfect. Keep in mind I had on a brand new battery, battery charger showed it fully charged and also the little battery icon on trolling motor showed full charge

Exchange that battery, or get it load tested. Or hook it back up and double check when making yor connection. Something don't sound right.

I agree with Cray......are you sure it just wasn't a connection problem at the battery ?
