I don't have a clue what went wrong this weekend. Full moon Saturday. Fished at least ten beds but no fish on any of them. Side image showed the beds clear as day but no fish on them.
I wonder if they spawned on full moon of April since it was already warm?
Had this weekend marked on the calendar for a while. Sure was disappointing.

They were on the beds last month where I fish in Mississippi.
They will usually be on the beds on every full moon all summer, but April and may normally the best.

They were on beds in s.w.Arkansas.I got my limit of 50 in about 2hrs and that was keeping only the larger gills, but it took 3hrs to find them.I used plastics under a slip cork. I had live crickets but they were hitting anything and everything.Someone may have beaten you to your spot!!

If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing
Same here in North Alabama on Wilson Lake. We fished several spots that had been producing for the past month. The water was the right temp 72-76 thru the day but water was down almost a foot. The fish we caught were feeding and not defending the bed and very slow. In my experience shell cracker bed in April and blue gill bed in may on the moon.
Same here in North Al some caught a lot of gills and crackers last month and the waters was real smelled up then but it's sure been a tuff year for me.
