I normally fish the Arkansas river system. I noticed today the water levels in the creek I was fishing are going down (shut off the bite). I guess they are drawing down in anticipation of the rain next week.

Yep 8 inches is about 7 inches too much.................. Our lakes will be mudholes throughout the spring...........

D10, could you please be a little optimistic? *grin*![]()
"Another day on the water..."
The good thing is that this is Arkansas so that forecast could change pretty quickly![]()

I am definitely the glass is half full kind of a guy. I would rather point of the positives, when available, than the negatives. However, it is hard to spin 8+ inches of rain to be positive towards fishing. But let me try. There should be plenty of water in lakes for some good spawns! This will definitely kick the walleye into high gear on Greers! How about that?
