    Default READY.. SET.... GO!

Been fishing 4 days a week for the last 3 months, mostly for bass and been wacking them but the warm weather last week raised the water temps from 46 to 53 so I decided to toss a jig and cork around some submerged shoreline grass and I started catching small male black crappie then it turned cold and that bite was done, water temps back to 47. With the latest few warm days in the 60's I decided to wait till the afternoon and try the crappie bite, this time they were suspended in 4-8 FOW in front of the grass beds but only after the water warmed in the afternoon sun. THESE HAVE ALL BEEN MALE BLACK CRAPPIE . All we need is some nights warmer than the current water temps of 47 to hold some of the solar energy and allow the water temps to climb and it will be on. Ive caught some deeper crappie (felames) single poling but they are all suspended around 12-18 ft over and next to standing timber but I LOVE to see that cork go down, a warm rain and a few warm days and it will be ON!!!! READY...SET..... GO!
