Not fishing, but was thinking of making the trip up, just to meet some of you folks. Looks like you're going to fish and git!

Think I'll wait, do you ever have a get together where you have a fish fry later, maybe a meet and greet?

Yes sir they do Marv.

Slabfest's are posted when they have a meal -open discussion after weigh in.
Lot of times they will have a "pitch in type set up" everyone brings something,
fish are filet that were caught that day and/or filets that have been thawed out
from previous trips are used in to speed up time needed to prepare meal.
Read up on previous Slabfests will give you some insight.

Might want to reconsider going to Monroe - this year October 3rd. and attending
just to meet a lot of guys & gals that are on CdC.

Pull the boat over and go fishing. Great lake for longlining and timing should be close to perfect. There will be plenty of us there to help if needed, and just have to follow about anyone around the corner to the pile of boats.
