I went with the Drfitmaster becuase it locked. I added a divider in the middle to support the long rods. You have move the end divider all the way to almost 4 inches from the tips to avoid them from whipping against each other in the wind.

I've got a 2016 WE Predator 861 (as if my handle didn't give it away). Would like to put it on console side if possible. I like EZ's and may go with that. But Wayne Inman has a YouTube clip of a transport rack that can be turned up on one end and tightened down to a base plate and it would act as a rocket launcher type rod holder while switching spots....because of course you've already caught all the slabs in your first spot!![]()

Walmart sells a garage misc holder for $1.00 and I use 2 of them, one on each side. I don't like anything hanging off or near the boat edge. These hooks go on the inside of the boat and I made a bungee strap to hook over the top of them once I have everything I want pinned down. I saw the idea from ATM on this forum. It works great for the way I fish. There are so many times I have a limb or a snag come inside of the boat or hit the back end of the boat causing me to change direction. There are times I want to rest the back end of my boat on a snag to keep me placed perfectly for a few moments. There is no way I could do this with the rod racks I have seen. I wrap all my rods in a matter if seconds and strap them in. It's worked for me and was cheap, but if I planned to fish nothing but open water like most, I would go for a nice rack like EZ makes.
Here is what I have for my war eagle from hitekstuff.com its a great product and very sturdy. The owner will work with you very well he had to offset mine 3" to clear my windshield.great costumer service.
Made my own yesterday out of my spyderlocs rod holders lol...will make these do until I get the drift master tip savers in
