Think we should have pulled CBs during camp. Scott and I jig fished Tuesday and keep 22 small fish and maybe turned back 40, Scott fished jigs alone yesterday and it was bad bad, he fished till 12 for 10 small fish. Don't know about throwbacks. So today it was back to the CBs and we keep 20 good fish and only threw back about 10, first time in a long while we keep more than we threw back. First 7 were good keepers before 1st dink. Black and pink was the best color by far. Good fish seemed to be away from the creek.

i was told gin creek area was full of crappie right now
Thanks for the fishing information. With all the warm weather we have had I don't think that the crappie has started the fall/winter fatten up yet. The crappie that I have caught down here in Archusa lake in Quitman, Ms. Their stomachs are not full of shad yet when I fillet them. Maybe the good crappie fishing is yet to come. They are scattered and been tough to catch so far this fall. Thanks again for the post not very many people posting any type of fishing information or anything in a long time on this state forum.
Be safe and good luck fishing
