Brett, I know youre just kidding. As much crap as you take from the guys on these boards you HAVE to be able to take it and dish it back out. LOL It's all just in fun. If you lived a bit closer I'd definitely ask you aboard my dingy.

I'm the butt of many jokes around here and that's fine, rather entertaining.
Now and real ? for you.

I was out Thursday and I did real well with a jig on the bottom and minnow about a foot above, fishing brush.
Thing is though, I didn't get one bite on the jig.
Really I wasn't expecting to but I'd like to be able to use jigs and catch a few.
I wasn't moving the rig around much since I had a minnow on there.
So what have I got to do to catch a few with a jig?

    thanks

Brett, all I can do is recommend that you PM Inkdabber or CBNC. I know those 2 guys fish almost exclusively tightlining jigs and they load coolers if anybody can. I'm sure thru PM's you can find out about as much as you wanna know. ME and Jigs? Well...I GOTTA be running atleast 1 mph to keep from getting bored to death (really I just LOVE longlining and dont wanna catch 'em any other way). Needless to say I dont know how to catch 'em dangling a jig in their face cause I have never gave that much effort.

Well...this is the best I can do. Not a before picture but DEFINITELY the best after picture I could produce. Now I've gone and ate too much. Time for a nap!

That picture sends a pretty solid message. I'd love to have about four of those fillets in a samich with slaw. Sleep tight Butch... and thanks for sharing.

Dosen't look like your first rodeo. Dang, that is a mouth watering picture. I feel I can taste the fish and fries. When is the next dinner? Are you coming to the slabfest at Lake Talquin in Oct.?

I'd LOVE coming to Talquin but currently I'm working and that is a 6-8 hr (looked it up but cant remember right now) haul for me. Once I retire for good I plan on coming to the slabfest and spending a good week or so there fishing, that is IF you guys leave some there for me to catch.
