Doug, you know them young fellers still gotta keep workin so they don't have time to check in here. I tell em to keep workin, somebody has to pay my social security. I paid it for 37 years now it's time to collect mine. Slabseeker, I wasn't picking on MR DUX. I was inviting him to come up north and fish with me and the crew. Our lake temps are quite a bit lower than yours and the crappies are still fired up. You're invited to come up too..... when you get them veggies done.

As much time as you have spent down here with us redneck boys, you should recognize Slabseeker was poking fun also.

You know one of these days I'm going to show up at your door with a couple of buddies in tow to take you up on that invite. A walleye trip is definitely on my bucket list.

Let me know Doug! I'd like to get in on the Walleye trip! My truck has plenty of room and I don't mind driving!

This is one of the holidays you won't find me on the water. The mere thought of the knuckleheads at the ramp is enough to keep me away. Today gave me a chance to install the new Terrova that's the UPS man delivered this week and grill some sirloins on the Big Green Egg. Searching for some new rod holder mounts for my track system online to keep the clutter down while pulling crankbaits.

The striper and white bass bite below the Barkley has been decent the last three weeks when I've been able to get away but couldn't catch anything in the cast net for bait to save my life last weekend. I myself have gotten the submersible green LED light out this week to make sure it still works but haven't put it in the water for three years. This could be the week I remember how to night fish, or something that vaguely resembles it. Stay safe out there fella's.
