Eufaula raised the gates to 6' earlier this morning and now the are up 9.5'. Lake level has gone up 1' since yesterday. And more heavy rains are coming. I was hoping to fire up the smoker today and cook some chicken and a meatloaf.

Which now means zero control over water releases. If we had not had low lake levels before this spring deluge we would have gotten to this point a week or two ago on many of our watersheds. In essence it would have been as if there was no flood control dams at all for the most recent rains. We need to pray that this is over with soon, because if it is not, for all practical purposes it will be back to the days when we had no dams. Father we thank You for the rain, we needed it. We ask now in the Name of Jesus that it ceases for a time so this situation gets no worse. We thank You for hearing us and granting our request, In Jesus' Name, amen.

Does T-Bird have a spillway ?
Just being a Kansas guy but I did not think the Corp had control of Grand lake isn't control by the Grand lake authority or something like that
Both Grand and Hudson are listed in COE Daily Report , management may be split between flood control and electric gen, recreation, etc.

Video of Twin Lakes dam at the link, this is a helluva a rain event. Wes Watkins is 8 foot over normal elevation , I can't imagine what's happening there with water goin over the spillway. I bet the road below the dam is closed.
