Okay water weights 62.42796 pounds per cubic foot.

There is about 340,000 cubic feet coming into Texhoma. ..

If said water is traveling at 5 mph how much energy is that in foot pounds and kw? ?

Okay you "Sheldon's" step up to the plate. ..

It's official only fourth time in history water goes over the spillway at texoma. And the rivers and creeks are still raging in from this weekends rain.

Its the overflow part of the dam. Called an open weir design. What ever comes into the lake now will over flow on that part of the dam.
