The wind and rains definitely made it interesting this time of year. I've also heard the fall bite is the best but I've never fish it because of deer season!

Spring is definitely my favorite time of year to fish my home lake, with Fall being a close second. No matter the time of year though, I always find myself looking forward to the next season, when I can get on a particular pattern that I thumped em on the year before! It rarely ever works out that way though, and I have to go into search mode to figure out what they want this year. It's what keeps it interesting, and there is always a sense of accomplishment when it all finally comes together.
