    Default Night fishing light

Here's the newest light I have made It is made to be hooked to the side of boat it has UV on both ends and white in center. White have a remote control. This one used with the sinking green lights works great using florescent line. You just have the white light on when you need it.

I'd like to try and make one - are you using led strips? I did some searching on ebay - would like to know what your source is for the leds...

Nice! I'm working on some lights too. Bought the clear pipe and LED's from Amazon, the rest at Home Depot. A 16' LED strip on Amazon is around $15. Before you built these lights, have you done much night fishing? Productive? I love to catfish at night so I can't wait to crappie fish at night.

Don't buy the waterproof light strips. The plain ones work best. The inside of the light has to be waterproof anyway, and the plain-led strips are cheaper and wrap a lot better around the core.

Blugras is right just get the non waterproof lights its all sealed any way. He's the one that showed me how to make them. But don't go fishing with him he will make you use dead minnows. The LED's you want to buy are 5m long you can get the clear tubes at Lowes look where they keep the florescent bulbs.

I looked all over Lowes and Home Depot for clear pipe and they thought I was nuts. Glad to know where to look now. Can't wait to finish mine and get on the water at night. We need to do a night tourney.
