I have some of the 12# Bonehead braid. It works very well and was priced right. However, I prefer a hi vis line which Bonehead does not have. Thus, if I have to go hi vis, Power Pro 10# Hi Vis is great, but very pricey. Bonehead is about half the cost, but if you can't find it then what's the use of trying?

Still on BoneHeads Band Wagon. Great products at a very affordable price. Great Bang a For Your Buck....Proven Mono and is one of the strongest per poundage than any I have used....Braid is also the best I have used with very little to no tip wrap.....Rods as far as I am concerned can't me matched.....I am no longer on their Pro Staff which was my decision not theirs and I appreciate the opportunity to work closely with some great people....I just stated I felt Dr Nips Pain is all.....Ranger

I've only used his line. Never tried his baits as I make my own. Fished with his rods but my Pro Angler's feel better to me and at half the price. I've only used Power Pro on my bass setup. Never tried it on my crappie setup so I have no comparison between Bonehead and Power Pro in regards to a smaller diameter braid.

I just bought a 300 yd spool of Power Pro, 15lb, hi viz yellow, from amazon for $26. Bonehead 12 lb orange broke easier than some 6 lb mono I've used--not a braid for me. js

Looks like I'll be swinging by BPS tomorrow night between 6-9 and getting some. Doing it at this time will net me an additional 500 points.

Nip - I don't think bps has carries the hi-vis yellow in stock in a lighter weight. The only place I have found it locally is at Lucky Lure in Britton Square on north May and they are not priced very low. If you can wait a little while you can order it at a better price. Also.....I have used Power Pro for several years and felt it was better than Bonehead. My Bonehead broke often, was replaced and still broke often. I know several people have had good luck with it but I was not one of them. A note about Power Pro, tho'.....I tried and do not like the newer Power Pro Slick. I stick with the original one. I still prefer Vicious the majority of the time and use braid only on a limited basis.

Got to cry BS on that one Ranger. I have the Bonehead on 4 rods and the tip wrap is just as bad as any braid!

Black, yellow, Orange, and pink are and have been available. White and green just sold out and has been reordered.

The web designers have been replaced and Bonehead has growing pains there that are being addressed. There maybe products you see or hear about that you don't see on the website yet but are available upon request by simply using the contact page.

If I can help with any questions or concerns reguarding Bonehead Tackle in the future please feel free to contact me.
