Wait till Grenada heats up for the 3lb fish. Might catch one anywhere, but the odds are better at Grenada or Washington next month.

I have heard that these three lakes have big crappie and lots of them. Im in western KY and want to make a long week end trip to experience new water and a chance at a 3lb plus crappie. And was hoping for some info on which lake would be the best and mabe a good place to start fishing. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I love fishing but work has to come first and limits my time on the water. Thanks Mike

We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
Grenada last week in march.
Come on down to grenada!!!
All things being equal, Grenada is your best bet for a trophy. It's also you best bet to strike out. When it's low from winter draw down, the least little rain will muddy and jump the lake several feet. Makes for a tough bite. Sardis and Enid don't generally fluctuate as wildly, allowing for more consistency. Three pounders can be caught on all.
Everybody that posts on here about wanting to catch a three pound crappie always forgets about Washington which, historically turns on first. Amazing.

Aint no running water or power down here! Tell em Feelay. 100 mile round trip for gas!
But in all seriousness, i had rather fish washington for a 3 lber. I catch fish all over the lake, and usually where I don't expect to. To me its much easier fishing, but thats probably because I don't know the bigger lakes that well.
can a fella duck hunt on washington? might could go for a little surf and turf????!!!!
sure aint no birds in my neck of the woods in arkieland!!!
