    Ray, take a look at the cummings nets. They weigh virtually nothing compared to some of the others. Adding the rubber net does add weight....but IMO the trade-off is worth it.

    Do like me and specialize in very small fish,

    Butch, I have the Cummings net after the other one turned out so heavy. Been hesitant to put the rubber netting on it, but the weight was probably due to the handle I was using more so than the net. I'll have to play around with it and see how it feels.

    I like the rubber nets, too, but they have a lot of resistance in the water. It's hard to pull the net from the water if there is much current or your trolling.
