    Whole fish is my favorite for sure. Going to have to try the filets with tail left on. I leave the skin a lot of the time.

    You can't beat the taste of whole cooked crappie. Thats a good way to keep the taste and filet .

    I'll remove all the fins and the head, but the tails are so good. Wife loves them too. Whole is so tasty and good. Flavor stays in the whole fish better I think.

    They are very tasty done that way. Bream are also good cleaned in the same fashion.
