    I've heard also that even if you do not have ins on the boat, if something happens while pulling it, it could be filed on you homeowners policy since your vehicle is insured (assuming) and your vehicle is also considered an extension of your home.

    Some companies will cover it.....some won't....the ones that do cover it some will full replacement value......some will just cover up to a certain limit.

    Sammy I think that only applies to the liability side. Say you side swipe someone with boat and trailer when towing. If anyone dosnt have boat insurance it would sure pay to check with insurance company.
