I've threw a 3/4 oz Hopkins over a guys ski rope, tween him an the boat. he seen it an let go of the rope, got in the boat and left the lake. this was after he came tween me an where I was castin 3 times, gettin closer each time. I hit another dude in the back with a 3/4 oz Lil George, it stuck him and he left to go to the doctor to get the hook out, I tol him he could keep the lure as a reminder to respect other folks fishin area. I have a little speech I give about sportsmanship an common human courtesey. "I know I don't own no more of this lake than you but I do, but I do feel like I own the part I'm fishin in. so if you don't wanna deal with one more mad dude, ya best not fish MY water!"

I have had a few run-ins but one of the funniest to me was the time I went to Falls Lake with my brother. It was an early Saturday morning and the wind was still, water flat, no sounds other than an occasional bird tweeting. We had been fishing for a hour or so, the morning fog had just lifted and we could see a small jon boat with a man and his boy heading our way. We really hadn't caught all that much but evidently enough that they decided fishing was better where we were. They made their way through the standing timber until they were within easy casting distance and my brother justed tilted his butt off the seat a lil bit and let er rip. Now I'm talking about a reverberating echo of a rip and I looked my brothers way and he just said to me "They're getting close, had to fire a warning shot across their bow." I thought I was going to hurt myself I laughed so hard, as they quickly turned and headed away....

I was fishing grenade lake couple years ago and they was having a big crappie tourney. Well that morning launching the boat one of the big name "pros" decided he got tired of waiting in line behind everyone to launch so he decided to cut over about 10 people in line. He got real close to me yanking them valve stems out..

Was tied up to a bridge pier crappie fishing!! The creek I was fishing was wide enough for two bridge piers!! A skier came through under the bridge sking!! Water was only 10' under my boat!! The skier dropped in the water just after sking by me.got back in the ski boat was gone about 30 min.Came back through sking under the bridge again touched the brideg pier with his hand turned the ski sprayed water in my face.I told him or them not to do it again. He said some choice words and left. The channel was very narrow as I motored out after fishing. As I turned the corner of the creek they were waiting on me in party barges with boat paddles raised and just enough room for my champion to fit through.I did not have a gun or any weapon in my boat.No cell phone service!! I was in trouble!! They said they were goning to take my head off when I went through the party barges. I had a 1993 191 champion 200 efi merc would run 75 MPH.I shot through the hole of the party barges at 75 MPH .They were diving off the party barges for their life. After I got through the hole in party barges. I turned around as they were getting back up on the barges!!! I told them I was taking my wife and nephew to the truck and safety and I would be back to finish the battle!! When I got back not a boat was in Sight!! Not one!! None!!!

Rockfishing around other boats is a good test of keeping your cool! This Dec. I was fishing @ Urbanna (#8) on the Rapp. River. I had found a small school of fish and circled back 3 times, catching a fish each time I hit certain area. Even had another boat fall in line behind me.. A guy came thru claiming I was too close to him, I had heard him earlier hollering at another boat so I just said "I'm sorry" figguring its just better than arguing with the stupid. 2-3minutes later he said same to another boat... They started chucking lead at each other!!
I just moved a mile -- fish were there too.

When I was @30yr old, we were catching trout at CBBT(Bay bridge tunnel) and a guy anchored Very close.. I asked him to let out more line on his anchor to keep our boats from banging into each other... He said I should move... So I moved,,,,,, To the bow of my boat and pissed on side of his!

My father is 80!! We live close to a lake that has a great White Bass run in the Spring!!From Mar-15 to April 15 it is on!! My father fishs every day of the white bass run. The limit is( 25 per person) he catches a 100 each day keeps 5-10 to eat!! He My father is the white bass king on our lake!!( his trophys are on the wall in the country store at drasco ark) The white bass run to the upper parts of the river to spawn in the rapids and gravel of the river!! The upper river is only wide enough for maybe 2 boats!! He was fishing last year and wearing them out!! A guy was trolling could not get around him (dad 80) so he trolled between him and the bank!! My Father has no paitence!! (Army)
He told the guy if he trolled between the bank and his boat again he would cut his line!! We were fishing just below him about 100 yds catching one fish after another!! The Guy came by us trolling and said did you hear what that guy said!! I sad no did not hear real good!! He said (my Father 80) if you troll between the bank and my boat again he would cut my HEAD off !! What do you think about that!! I said and he will do it too!!! LOL!!! not really he did not troll through their again!! The point is!!! (my father) was catching fish and the other guy wasn't so he thought he would fish through their any way wether my father liked it or not!! My father would have given (the other guy) all the fish he needed or showed him how to catch them but no he (the other guy) was gong to take them right out from under neath his boat(NOT going to happen)!!!
