    Default Little Creek Monday


    Only three boats on the lake all day. BrdHunter2 was one of them. Nice talking with you. Thanks for the info. Hope you nailed those Crackers.
    Nothing to write home about. Caught 16 crappie. Got over a huge school of fish. Most were around 6-8". Only 8 made the trip back to Chester. Caught one Shellie about 14oz. and a bunch of Green Carp and Pike. Just enough action for me to ignore the rain. At least I did have to stay home and do the dishes.
    Lake level is full. Water temp. dropped since Friday from 75 back to 72. Doc did not mention of any good catches over the weekend.

    Had a pretty good day all in all. Managed to get a couple of shellies that were 10". I found a school of crappie on a beaver hut in the area we were talking about and brought home 15 that were between 8-12". The highlight was having a huge pickeral nail a crappie that I was reeling in rigt infront of the boat. Snapped my line in a heartbeat. Also got into a few nice green carp. Hope to see ya out there again soon.........

    Good you caught some nice crappie. I fished the beaver hut about a hour after I talked to you. I only got a one small crappie and a couple of bass. Marked fish out a little bit from the hut. I must of been in too tight.
    The Shellie I caught was on the flat drop off in 12 feet of water. Where I saw you coming back down the lake. Before the "hard top".
    Frigging pickeral cut me off a couple of times.
    See any big schools of bait or striper marks. I saw a few more than last time but not a lot.
    I probably won't be back until next week. Hope to see you on the water.
