Default Done turkey hunting and ready to fish again

Been checking in but havent posted cause I have been turkey hunting in my spare time and havnt had any fishing reports. I secured access to a private lake that Sedge knows about and I will be takin my boat and leaving it at the lake sometime this week so I will be able to hop in and go without trailering. Place is only 10 min from my house and reportedly has good spec and other panfihing along with green carp. Givin recent reports from the suffolk lakes I think that having my boat at one spot isnt to bad of an option. For those who like to croaker fish I have gotten some reliable reports from the JRB and surrounding area's. The good size croaker are starting to show up in good #S. I plan on chunking for rockfish around some local briges also. Sedge, when do you want to make the trip. My calander is filling up quick but I am going to put the skiff behind the house for some after work sessions. To many fish and to little time!

I would like to chunk some bridges with ya .......I got one on the piankatank where a dock runs way out just past it and noticed the guy put 6 1500 watt quartz lights on the end of it ....thinking that was awful nice of him...although last year he turned them off when we started nailing them ...
do ya know of any laws preventing you from lighting up the water from a boat to rockfish ....I talking generator and some serious lights

No, Just helping others fill thier tags. Every time I have taken someone this year the birds are on fire and very co-operative. Last saturday I went for myself to two different "sure thing honey Hole" and did hear or see anything but a hen. Oh well, the drive to Appo. and spending four Friday evening in a row away from home is getting old. Time to start fishing again.

As far as I know you can use lights at night. I forget the brand but the green flouresent lights a beet the other lights hands down. A couple of piers at lynhaven have them conected underwater onto the docks and they are fish magnets. Be happy to fish with ya. I did good last year chunking and jigging t the M&M and I want to try the JRB this year to satify MY curiousity.
