I am anxious to get it going. Slab,Panphysher and myself, and anyone else we will put something together.First off because we all love to fish and we know at least of the good company!Ain't gonna hold hands with Slab in the shower or anything, but anxious to meet him.Panphysher is the one to say go as he lives right there in croaker country,on a beautiful creek leading out to the majestic lower James river.I know he will be sampling the waters this week and will report back.I lived not far from him for 32 years and know about what to expect on the croaks,as i had salt water mixed in veins, but as you all know, there are no exact rules in fish patterns. Many variables, weather, rain leading to salt vs.fresh water in these upper rivers. They may be there early in the season, and something turn them back"such as blackberry winter"for just a little while.I will be standing by for the questions on the quote from you young and very much admired folks.Quiz for the day__what is blackberry winter? No fair Googleing it!I personally would rather wait untill the real bullheads are there in full force, once there ,they will hang around for quite awhile.Step in anytime C12,i happen to know you are a salty, but usually after bigger further out species.Don't worry bout boat BC,we will hook you up with a ride.

We can all put in at JOnes creek ramp or at least meet there if you have another prefferd ramp. only reason I suggest Jones creek ramp is because there is plenty a shelterd places to catch fish this time of year for those who are in Jon boats. My nieghbor had a good catch Saterday in his jon boat probalby less than a mile from the Ramp and I have caught plenty in my 14' jon when the skiff was out of commision. I got a spare room with a bed for two (or one Male:D), a pull out couch, a blow up matress and there is a brand new hotel in Town 10 min from the Ramp. Sedge, none of your old holes are any good any more so dont try them, Unless of course you are fishing with me.:D:D I plan on fishing this weekend so I will give a report.

So do you think that I will be alright in my 14 footer or should I leave it at home and catch a ride with someone else. I have fished the main lake at Buggs in the wind (that water can get pretty rough in 20-30 mph winds)... my boat is wide and fairly stable.
