The rivers and creeks around us are difficult to pin down. I have been fishing Northwest River for years and I am just starting to crack the shell. Tap out did good on that river, as he did on Northwest. Look for drop offs or the channel where the creeks comes out to the main river. I would find them on the edges of the channel, in about 6 to 12FOW, down about 4 foot. In the early spring late winter I will be tightening with six rods in front. I h OP pe this helps you out. I am by all means no expert, I have my Crappie days to. Last time out it was all white perch not a crappie to be found.
