    them ol blue cat filets eat good too! don't stop fishing just change gears

    You have a valid point hunter, do you put out noodles for the catfish, or do you catch them on a rod? Ive only fished for cats from the bank, at night while camping, just wondered what technique you used, good luck when the water comes back down, Ill try to get to the lake sometime in the next week or so, take care.

    I mainly tight line bottom fish- although last few years I've got into some drift fishing - it's all fun stuff & you never know just yesterday a 109 lb blue was caught @ buggs- that makes 2 over a 100 & 3-4 I know of in 75-80 lb range this spring- there 's some real hogs out there!
    My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !

    I ment to say 70-90 lb range- all big fish anyway you look @ it!!!

    Slsbin,i went to you profiles and notice you are a carpenter,my dad was a carpenter and so us 3 boys did a lot of that work also,love it,built many houses from ground up,as i got older got different job and build them on side,a few years ago that work got tough, hope your wrk is doing good,i see in summer you love main river around clarksville,that is a good after spawn area,keep us inform on your summer fishing,looks like a while before i go,good fishing
