Very nice report and glad you had a good trip. A couple of pigs for sure. I'm pretty sure that bottom fish is a white perch and not a white bass. Its also a monster. Nice catch.

went to Longwood campground launched in grassy Creek. fishing report as follows: caught 20 crappie. only had 7 keepers with two that were citations. my friend called one at 2lbs 8oz. then my other buddy caught one at 2lbs5oz. sadly I didn't catch a citation. for 2&a half days of fishing that was pretty good. all fish were caught on Jigs black blue chartreuse or some combination of. big fish was caught on a pearl in chartreuse 16th ounce jig. fish were caught in 2 to 5 feet of water. water was a little muddy to slightly stained. water temperature is at 60 to 66 degrees. fish were hard to find. a few fish were caught within 2 feet of the bank in bushes and some scattered on large flats near the shorelines in the very back of the creek and coves. you should have seen the look on my buddies face when we netted that 2 and a half pound crappie. I'm very nice weekend indeed. oh also some bonus largemouth bass catfish gar and one good white bass. my largest crappie was one pound 10 ounces.

Great report, nice slab
I've only caught a few white bass in my life. Is it a white perch? If so it could have been a citation as well. didn't weigh it or measure it. Well it's diner now. By the way that's my friend Scott (blackout) in the pics. His first crappie citation. I told him that buggs was the place to catch one.
That appears to be a citation White Perch. It is 16-16½" long.
