    I think it's more like 90 minutes difference between Walkerton and Aylett. It seems to vary quite a bit--I rarely hit it exactly right. Garrie Rouse runs Mattaponi Canoe and Kayak. www.mattaponi.co.

    If you're looking for a paddling partner, let me know. I'm moving over the next couple weeks, up river near the bridge on Dorrell Rd. New territory for me and can't wait.
